Throughout the universe, there are multiple planets that contain sentient beings. There are three major planets containing sentient life that are most commonly known. These planets are Nion, Dyadus, and Vanaril

Nion[]

Nion is the planet of habilis. The planet is earthlike, being made up mostly of bodies of water. The planet has two poles, a single sun and a single moon.

Habillic Heirarchy[]

The Habilic hierarchy is as follows:

1. Faran[]

The faran are the most powerful beings on Nion. They are highly intelligent creatures and mostly keep out of the affairs of the rest on the habilis. They are known as the observers of the world, and each faran contains a wealth of knowledge. Faran reside in single locations mostly, with these locations being hard to discover or traverse usually. While passive, faran who have been disturbed or targeted in the past have been known to cause cataclysmic damage.

2. Superia[]

The superia are habilis that contain high levels of energy and innate intelligence. They are natural manipulators of energy, with races in this category being born with latent potential to control energy in various forms. The main known races of the superia are tynar and dragons.

3. Mortals[]

Mortals are the third class of habilis on Nion, spanning most of the planet. They have evolved into various races and created the largest singular civilization on the planet. They are born with energy, but energy manipulation is something that takes time and practice in order to learn.

4. Fauna[]

Fauna are the various animals that inhabit Nion. They are non-intelligent habilis that may or may not be born with energy or the potential to use it. Most of the creatures in this class are mundane in terms of energy usage, but some species have developed certain energy techniques.

Vanaril[]

Vanaril is the planet of beasts. Vanaril is a large planet containing mostly natural environments. The planet is filled with energy and no level of industry exists.

Vanarillin Heirarchy[]

The Vanarillin heirarchy is as follows:

1. Divine Beast[]

The divine beasts are the most powerful beasts on Vanaril. They all contain high levels of perception, and for some reason they all contain high levels of empathy as well. All divine beasts can speak to other sentient creatures telepathically. They tend to have some sort of singular innate mystical power. They hold freedom to a high standard and don't claim stake over any type of domain or area.

2. Legendary Beast[]

The legendary beasts tend to reside in specific locations, although they can be migratory. These beasts are powerful, but again usually contain a singular talent or small group of related talents that can be accomplished with energy. Legendary beasts cannot speak telepathically, but they can learn to understand speech and communicate their emotions. They can become powerful enough to be chosen as the main beast in an environment, such as a forest or river.

3. Spirit Beast[]

Spirit beasts travel throughout the land. They can be seen everywhere but are typically reclusive and shy. All spirit beast have a certain energy talent, which is the mystical talent to increase the luck or misfortune of the target depending on the intentions of the spirit beast.

4. Pack Beast[]

Pack beasts are the common beasts throughout Vanaril. They usually reside in an area protected by a legendary beast for protection. They have no latent energy ability but do have high levels of energy within them.

The Cardinal Beasts[]

The cardinal beasts are four powerful divine beast spirits from the planet of Vanaril that crossed over to Nion through the goddess root in ancient times. They bestow powerful abilities upon those who find them, and typically are kept with their user at all times.

Dyadus[]

Dyadus is the planet of deities. Dyadus is a planet that is tidally locked. This has caused the planet to split into two main countries. Illador, meaning domain of the sun, is the sun-facing country. The dieties here developed a reliance on the light of the sun, where if they are not under the specific sun rays of the Dyadus sun they will slowly over time lose their strength and eventually their life. Bagorum, meaning terrain of the moons, is the moon-facing country on Dyadus. They developed only with reflected light and therefore are non-reliant on the Dyadus sun. This caused a change in culture between the two groups, and therefore different hierarchies were created.

Illadoran Heirarchy[]

The Illadoran hierarchy is:

1. Grand Deity[]

The grand deities are the most powerful deities in Illador. They are capable of a multitude of energy manipulations and practices. They are an ultimate power and rule over vast domains, encompassing the domains of multiple gods and goddesses. Their powers are complex and each one usually has multiple.

2. God/Goddess[]

This class of deity is the second class of Illadorans. Each god or goddess rules over a domain, although these domains can vary in size. They have complete control of that domain and are connected to it as well. Most are under the rule of a grand deity, with only a few living outside the bounds of their vast control.

3. Archangel[]

Archangels report to grand deities and are known as the working class of Illador. They do not possess a domain, but they do have high levels of energy natually due to their deity blood. Most archangels can only manipulate energy with their diamoron, a weapon type unique to Illador created and given to them by the grand deity they serve.

4. Cherub[]

Cherubs are low-level angelic creatures that can be related to the animals of this world. They are non-intelligent creatures and while most have no ability to control energy, pieces and parts of the creatures are known as highly valuable energy materials on Nion.

Bagoric Heirarchy[]

The Bagoric hierarchy is:

1. Eldritch Devil[]

An Eldritch devil is the highest power in Bagorum. They are on the same level as grand deities, although they seem to seek knowledge more than their Illadoran counterparts. Although they have ultimate authority over their domains, they are often reclusive and keep to themselves.

2. Demon Lord[]

Demon lords are powerful deities in Bagorum. They have a similar structure to Illador, where an eldritch devil rules over a large domain, but not all demon lords have a domain at all. This has causes larger and more closely knit cities to form in Bagorum. Since most eldritch devils are lax in their rule, some of these cities are ruled by the citizen's law.

3. Fiend[]

Fiends are helpers of the eldritch devils. They are naturally skittish creatures and often run errands for those that rule them. They are loyal deities and while they have no ability to manipulate energy they have amplified physical attributes.

4. Lesser Spawn[]

Lesser spawn are the non-intelligent deities in Bagorum. They are similar to cherubs, but more lesser spawn seem to be territorial.

Possession[]

Possession is an interesting phenomenon that can only occur with the Habilis of Nion. They are able to form a connection with beings from the other planets, this connection is known as a tether. While one can undergo special training to strengthen it, the strength of a tether is largely dependent on the strength of both parties. Through this process, Habilis are able to gain access to the innate abilities of the beings that they're linked to, with more abilities being accessed with stronger tethers.

Alberose Tethers[]

Formed by the Eldritch Demon Alberose, these special tethers connect the body and soul of Bagoric entities to a Habilis subject, which creates a closer connection between the two. Alberose, the Jailer creates these connections as a rehabilitative punishment for the bagoric entities in question as a way for them to atone for their crimes. While this tether helps to foster a closer connection between the two subjects, the death of the Habilis host will also result in the death of the demon, regardless of if the possession is currently in use.

Liminal Gates[]

Liminal gates are essentially doorways that connect planets together. Most of these gates are largely unstable, and don't remain open for very long. Likely also due to their unstable nature, most gates only allow for what is referred to as a spiritual crossing where essentially only the soul of a being is able to pass through the gate, leaving their physical body behind. On rare occasions, liminal gates that allow both body and soul to pass through can open, such as the crossing of the cardinal beasts into Nion through the Goddess Root.

Known Liminal Gates[]

  • Below is a list of the known liminal gates and the planet that they connect to.
